(deadline EXTENDED TO NOVMEBER 12TH!)
Are you interested in improving your policy proposal writing and presentation skills? Do you want the opportunity to work alongside KPMG experts on a relevant policy case? Do you want the chance to win a first round internship interview with KPMG?
Last year, CCI welcomed students from the Munk School of Global Affairs & Public Policy, Rotman School of Management, the Institute for Health Policy, Management, & Evaluation, and the Faculty of Information (iSchool) to work on a real-world healthcare case written by KPMG consultants.
This year, SHIFT is tackling emerging technologies and opening participation to a larger pool of applicants from computer science and engineering backgrounds. Participants will be placed in multidisciplinary teams and mentored by experts from KPMG. Following a panel event with experts in the field and networking social hosted at the KPMG office, students will present their pitches to senior leaders in the private and public sectors. Last year’s judging panel included KPMG National Digital Health Lead, CEO of AMS Healthcare, Assistant DM of Strategic Partnerships at the Ministry of Health and more!
The winning team will be awarded a cash prize and first-round interviews for consulting roles at KPMG. Second and third place teams are also awarded a cash prize.
The competition features an exciting week that will take place from November 23rd to November 29th, 2025, 2025.
